Inventory the glass
Separate entrance doors, interior partitions, mirrors and exterior windows. Note which side is included and whether the glass has film, coatings or decorative finishes. Do not assume that a proposal for entry glass includes every partition or high window in the building.
Identify access limits
Record furniture, locked rooms and occupied workstations that affect access. Elevated work and exterior access need suitable equipment and an agreed method. A routine janitorial visit should not turn into improvised climbing or work around unprotected openings. Confirm the authorized scope before dispatch.
Protect nearby materials
Follow the glass or film manufacturer's care directions and use compatible products. Coordinate around electronics, documents and adjacent finishes. Do not scrape unknown residue without confirming that the method is suitable. Existing scratches and damaged films should be documented before cleaning starts.
Inspect under normal conditions
Agree on a practical inspection method and note remaining damage separately from removable marks. Review busy entrance doors more often than rarely touched partitions if observations justify it. Itemize periodic detail work so it does not quietly displace the rest of the contracted tasks.
